Programme of Events

Indoor events are generally free to BIAS members.

Events are at Keynsham in the Masonic Hall unless otherwise stated. Visitors are very welcome and are invited to make a donation of £4. Outdoor events are individually priced.

There is level disabled access to the room we use. And free car parking.

Covid-19 is still a threat. Please check before attending that you are Covid free.

By Car: From Bristol or Bath, take the Keynsham exit from the Broadmead roundabout on the Keynsham bypass. The Masonic Hall is only a few yards from the roundabout on the right.
By Bus: The X39 and A4 services link Keynsham to Bath and Bristol.
By Rail: It is quite a long walk, but there are direct regular services from Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads and Bath.

The Helicopter Museum, Weston-super-Mare

25 November ; 11:00 – 14:30

We are planning a midweek behind-the-scenes visit to the Weston Super mare Helicopter museum. Provisional arrangements are :-

11am arrive for coffee/tea
11.30 -12.30 tour of the main hangar
12.30 – 1.30  lunch
1.30 – 2.30  tour of the new heritage hangar and Weston aviation display in the pilots block 

followed by a chat with the restoration team for those that are interested. 

Adults: £15.00 Children (3-15): £8.50 Seniors/Concessions: £13.50 If you would like to come but need a lift we would try to make arrangements for this A further email will be sent out with a response form later this month.
