Do you remember the magnificent and much-loved Bristol pleasure steamer MV Balmoral cruising down the Bristol Channel? Perhaps you were one of the thousands who sailed on her.
Well, she’s now moored beside the M Shed Museum being restored by a friendly and enthusiastic group of volunteers who need your help. If you are a ‘people person’ we need you to meet and greet visitors, engage with the public, publicise and guide. If you love SM, IT, or administrative roles, we need your skills. If you prefer to be practical, help us clean, polish, and paint, or repair timber, metal and mechanical items?
Whatever your age or skill we’ll find you something useful to do and help you learn a new skill if you wish… and there is free tea and coffee! You’ll find it satisfying work helping to return this historic ship to carry passengers at sea again.
