First you buy some obelisk finials Then you buy some steel Then you get the zig zag detail cast by local founder Michael Brett (Bristol Foundry) Weld it, paint it, and use a handy GWR sack truck to wheel it round to the Railway Massive improvement from the rotten wooden board tied on with rope Did not take much effort to remove the board! Mike and Alan took turns to use a big drill They then lifted it into position, used post cement and welded it to the tags of the existing railings Job done, with happy faces Another view, matches the existing railings well Pity to cover it up with the Hotel sign!

Another 40 off the bus to keep the queue built up More relaxed on Sunday so the 91 year old grand daughter of Phillip Munro (the architect of the railway and pumproom) came to visit, all the way from Nottingham. She looked at the clock and medallions which were presented to the Munro family on the day the railway opened in March 1893 and admired the beautiful architecture of the pumproom. A special day With the clock
