As some of you are aware the Claverton Pumping Station group have been trying to save the cottage from being sold by The Canal and River Trust for a short term gain. They have asked if they could take it over and turn it into a Canal and Claverton Visitor Center. The building would be restored by volunteers wherever possible. So far after twelve months of thought and a viability study by an outside tourism consultant and little communication CRT have decided that they still wish to sell.
