We are sad to record the death of long serving BIAS member Jean Grudgings on January 1st, aged 94. She was well known in the Thornbury area, as in her younger days she was a volunteer for a local meals on wheels service, as a driver delivering meals locally. She was also interested in local history and was a member of the Friends of Thornbury and District Museum from its inception. We extend our condolences her son Steve, also a BIAS member and the rest of her family.
